Kranjska gora

Kranjska Gora is an important winter sports resort and is most known for the World Cup alpine ski and ski jumping contests on the giant ski jump in nearby Planica. Ski lifts and tows climb up the slopes of Vitranc from Kranjska Gora to Planica, at the altitude from 800 to 1215 meters. Ski slopes are linked by a system of 4 ski lifts and 14 ski tows; there are also about 40 easy or more demanding cross-country skiing lines. In the summer, Kranjska Gora is completely different; green and blooming, it attracts walkers, mountain-climbers, and is also an ideal starting point for demanding alpine tours. Peace and relaxation, sports and entertainment, that's Kranjska Gora. It is situated 89 km from Ljubljana.

Pohorje

Pohorje mountains elevate to the height of 1500 m above the valley of the river Drava, with their massive, magnificent forests, attractive little lakes, and wonderful air which smells of fur trees. Pohorje has developed into a real tourist and recreation resort that is attractive both in summer and in winter. Pohorje is the scene of annual World Cup Women's Alpine Skiing Contest for the "Golden Fox". You can choose among 40 km of ski lines of all difficulty levels and about 30 km of cross-country skiing lines.

Strunjan

Hotel Oleander*** lies at the heart of the peaceful Strunjan saltpans, yet is within easy reach of the tourist centres of Portorož, Piran, Izola in Koper. Strunjan's wider surroundings are famous for their picturesque Istrian villages, and the renowned Lipica stud farm lies only half an hour away by car. Just a little further ale the world-famous caves of Postonjska Jama and Škocjanske Jame, both of which are on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

A few steps from the hotel is a well-kept beach, bordered by a delightful grove of pine trees. A little further on is the Krka health resort, which offers our quests favourable rates for health treatments and swimming in their indoor and outdoor pools filled with heated seawater.

Every room in the hotel has a view over the Bay of Strunjan and the saltpans. The rooms provide everything quests need for their comfort: television, telephone, safe, radio hairdryer and minibar.
