Regulations for the volleyball championships

The Sport Regulations of Union SCIPT have been revised and approved by the General Asssembly 16th June 2007 in Tällberg, Sweden.

Article 1 - General

Unless otherwise stated in the Union SCIPT General Regulations, or these Regulations, the Regulations of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) – www.fivb. - shall apply.

Article 2 - Participation - Number of players

The Championship is open to national/company and club teams within the Union Member, see General Regulations, article 2.3.1.

 A maximum number of 9 players for each team can be nominated for the Championships.

Article 3 - Overall tournament or groups

The Championships can be organised either as an overall tournament, or in the form of groups with a subsequent final round within each category. This will be decided by the Organiser with the agreement of the Secretary General, depending on the number of entries.

Article 4 - Suspended player

If a player is sent off during a match, he is automatically suspended from the next official match in a Union SCIPT event. The Board decides on an additional suspension after considering the report of the Arbitration Committee.

Article 5 - Umpires and officials / Ball licensed by FIVB

5.1
The organiser will provide all umpires and officials. Umpires must be qualified to at least class 2nd level for their country.

5.2
The organiser shall provide a sufficient number of balls licensed by  FIVB  for  the matches.
