Check-list for the football championship
- Proceed in accordance with the Union’s General Regulations, the Football Regulations and also the Guidelines for the organisation of Union SCIPT championships.
- Prepare the ground (marking the lines, corner flags, etc) and the reserve ground.
- A training ground should be placed at the disposal of the teams with fixed hours for training.
- Footballs to be provided to all teams.
- Prepare the sound system: set of microphones and loudspeakers of the stadium and provide a commentary if necessary.
- Notice Board
- List of fixtures.
- National flags/national anthems at the stadium.
- Assign and mark the players’ changing rooms.
- Appoint referees and linesmen.
- Provide drinks for the teams (teams’leaders decide the drinks during the matches).
- First aid kits (ice packs/sprays are important).
- Check the ground and equipment two days before the championship to ensure that all is in order (amongs others the turf, the lines marking).
- Ensure the players’kits can be washed at the end of each match.
- Provide a Sport secretariat with all the necessary aids.
- Price giving ceremony / distribution of prices, etc.
- Notice board / fixtures match / results.
- Request the colour of the team kits at the moment of inscriptions, in order to inform all the teams well before the championships take place.
