The Union SCIPT 2010 Beach Volley Championships (women and men teams) will be organised by CDCR dos CTT – Centro de Desporto, Cultura e Recreio do Pessoal dos CTT.
1. Date and location
The tournament will be held from Tuesday 29th June to Sunday 4th July in Portimão (Algarve), south of Portugal and matches will be played on a sports area on the beach in Portimão.
2. Participants
Each member of Union SCIPT may participate in the tournament with three men teams and three women teams. A delegation may consist of a maximum of sixteen people: twelve players, two coaches, one delegate and one delegation leader.
3. Provisional program
Tuesday 29th June: Arrival of the delegations, dinner, team leaders meeting and Welcome reception
Wednesday 30th June: Opening ceremony and competition
Thursday 1st July: Competition
Friday 2nd July: Competition and Sightseeing
Saturday 3rd July: Finals, prize award ceremony and closing banquet
Sunday 4th July: Departure of the delegations

5. Lodging
We have reserved the apartments at Oceano Atlántico Apartments Praia da Rocha (Portimão); this is located about five minutes away by car from the venue where the matches will be played.
6. Costs
The cost per person € 490 in T1 (max 3 pax).
Prices are per person and include:
- hotel accommodation, five breakfasts, four lunches and five diners
- Sightseeing on Friday
- transport from Faro Airport to Portimão and vice versa
- transport from hotel to sports area and vice versa
7. Terms
a. Preliminary entry form
Please complete the entry form and send it to us before 29th January 2010, with a copy to the Secretary General Union SCIPT.
b. Final entry form
The form will be sent to you in March 2010. The deadline for receiving the final entry form will be 30th March 2010.
c. Payment
We will send you an invoice in April 2010 and we ask that you pay this by not later than the end of May 2010.
