The Board of Union Scipt is currently meeting in Ljubljana.

It is with sadness that we report the death of Anders Aasen who passed away on 6th October 2007.

The teams from TNT and Sweden Post/PIF won gold and bronze medals for respectively women and men individual and won also the respectively team events.

TNT the Netherlands won the Union SCIPT Chess Championship 2007.

The 15th Union SCIPT Chess Championships was opened Monday morning by the Secretary General Peter van Soest. The organizer is CDCR dos CTT Portugal Post with Rui Cabaco as the president of the Organizing Committee.The team managers of the 9 teams taking part, decided to play a full round, i e that every team play every other team.
